I HAVE AN 01 S10,I HAVE A SET OF 20'S WITH 6.5 BACKSPACING AND FROM MEASURING A +40MM OFFSET I HAD THEM ON THE TRUCK BUT THEY RUBBED REAR MORE THAN THE FRONT. WOULD 1INCH SPACER CORRECT THIS THE TRUCK IS LOWERED 3 FRONT AND REAR NOT BAGGED

If the wheel doesn't rub but the tire does go with a narrower tire. If the wheel and the tire rub, go with a different wheel with the correct offset and proper wheel width for your vehicle. Spacers are not a very safe option.

IF YOUVE got a + 40mm offset you can run a 1.5in adaptor & they should still tuck, make sure the adaptors are billet & not cast

depending on the spacer, if its thick, longer lug studs may be needed too, so you have enough thread engagement with the lug nuts.

I have spacers on my Jetta now, 1/4 inch on the front and 1/2 on the rear...but i never had one that was more than that...I was told that spacers were safer than adapters but i hear everything is unsafe to a point that you do to your car/truck!
