Ranger Floor shift??

Does anyone have any info on putting an auto floor shifter in a ranger with an A4LD trans?I think I remember someone telling me that I could use a shifter out of an older style mustang. Its a cable shifter with "P-R-N-O/D-D-2-1" The indicators dont have to be the same though as long as the cable portion will interchange.

the floor shift from an 83-88 should bolt right on.

83-88 ranger? I really want a Lokar Nostalgia style shifter in it but I am trying to figure out how to mate it with the A4LD or rather which one I could use from Lokar be it a C4 or an AOD style and somehow make the linkage work because no one lists parts for the A4LD.

ooooooo. the AOD style should be similar.
