i just bought a truck that came with 1 10w1 and a box. i'm getting 1 more 10w1 and need suggestions on a good amp to run them. i know the 10w1 i already have can easily take 200watts rms so what amp should i use for 2? thanks guys!!!

by the way i had the visonik V117SX amp
2 x 100W Rms @ 4 ohms Stereo
2 x 150W Rms @ 2 ohms Stereo
1 x 400W Max @ 4 ohms Bridged
so the 10w1 was getting 400watts since it was bridged!!! i know visonik isn't the best so let me here some suggestions!!!

JL Audio 500/1 is a little beefy but would get the job done.

wow 500/1 thats way too much a power for w1s maybe 2 12w3 but a jl e1200 or jl 250/1 will be plenty for those woofers

i'd like to run 400-500 watts total rms with them. the 10w1 i have is over 4 years old and can take 300-400 watts rms on a daily basis. so i need an amp that can give each of them about 200-250 watts each.

the way i look at it is if you over power the subs but turn the gain on them down they sound alot better, i ran 200rms to subs that were 200max the amp doesnt have to be cranked up to get good sound out of the subs and you wont distort them, go big
