So i was gonna use uniballs, but if they don't offer any more range of motion than a regular ball joint, it does not help me very much.

Now as you can see in the pics, the ball joints from lame ind. have a fair amount of travel, you can see alot more throw toeing in than out. these will work perfect for me. But Yuri says they no longer have any of these ball joints, and i really don't want to cut my uppers again,(don't want to powder coat again)

can you guys help me find these ball joints? I can't just go to the auto parts store, cause they just have pics with the boots on.

Damn thats a lot of travel.

Do you know what the bolt pattern is? I have a friend that works at a high end parts store, and he can take the time to open parts and inspect parts. I have him do it all the time when I need something, but don't know what vehicle its made for.

Yuri at aim, told me it's just a factory replacement joint chevy fullsize halfton, thats the prob bomar,i don't think your gonna find them at a high end parts store. I imagine that Laim IND just gets a "lot" of cheap ball joint to throw on they're aftermarket control arms.

Did you go down to the parts store and ask for a factory replacement joint chevy fullsize halfton to see if they are the same?

This place carries everything. The absolute cheapest and the nicest, and I've got an account. I just bought some rotors for a Toyota for $8 each. Do you have a camera phone? If you send em the picture I can send it to him with some instructions on what to look for. I can have him look for a Chevy Fullsize 1/2 ton balljoint that travels like that. And I can either get you the brand a PN or get them and send them your way.

well now im thinking about just buying uniballs, and offset the weld cup to the angle i want, but the cheapest i've found them for is 200 and i got christmas shopping to do, my trucks get way to many presents as is. that and i just need to do this and inner fenders and it's off to body and paint.

I can tell you one thing from my parts store experience...that doesn't look like a factory fullsize 1/2 ton chev bj to me. But what do I know? I know that there is a book at a parts store in Sandpoint that has ball joints with massive amounts of travel for custom applications...you should check it out...ask Lee
