After collecting parts for a few years, and cutting my losses, i have decided to finally finish my crew cab. It is a '97 Chevy 1/2 ton using an extended cab frame that was extended 13 inches using c channel from another frame. It is gonna be power by a 454 vortec from the donor truck that also has the cab and wiring harness. I am going to start working on the suspension first finishing everything. Currently it has up front- Air Ride Tech Strong Arms, and Shocks, Firestone 2600 lb bags, 4 gc 450 valves. Out back it got a two link by wiser suspension and a tubular notch. This setup uses a crosslink in the bars so that a panhard bar is not needed. It also allows for use of factory shocks and 2600 lb firestone bags as well and will be run using 2 gc 350 valves. Air is gonna be supplied by 2 Chrome Viair 480 Compressors into 2 5 gallon Stainless tanks mounted under the bed. Right now it is just bare frame and suspension because i am fixing to stip the paint down on it and put down a few coats of chassis black paint on it before i start assembling it. I will get some pics. up shortly.
