Whos played with this stuff??Would the best thing to do to create an acrylic tail light the same shape as bodylines/contour, be to lay a piece of acrylic (plexi-glass) in a piece of tailgate skin (for instance) and bake it...???180 degrees right? for about how long???what thickness would be best? 3/16?

I used a heat gun to form a piece of 1/4 plexi I got from Lowe's to a speaker box I built one time. It was like an s shaped with a flat piece at the bottom. It worked out really well. Just take your time and don't heat it to much or it will bubble. Don't heat it enough and it will crack. Should work though.

great thing about acrylic is that it can be bent in a regular sheet metal brake too
