I own a company that does display plaques from magazine and newsprint articles as well as from photographs

We can do information plaques as well with pictures to put next to your ride at a show

Is this somthing that is of interest to guys and girls in this sport??

We do alot for the performance boat people and are looking at doing more in the car and truck field

Cost range from $100 to $500 depending on sizeour web site is www.headlinesdirect.com

Is this somthing that this group would buy??? I am looking at doing some shows this year and wanted to know if the gang here would spend the money to have somthing hanging on the wall of your car or truck

Please give me your imput after looking at our site

Thanks

Marc

they pretty much do it anyway.

everyone of my friends that got features got a call within a week or two for some company to make a plaque for them.

They're a little pricey, but they're neat

yea in the news does it for most major magazines they usually charge 250.00. They actually mail you the plaque and if you want to keep it then you pay them for it. I wonder how many they have given away that way lol

Yeah, definitely a nice item to hang on the wall. It's cool to have the mag your truck was in...but even better to have something that will never wear out. I have two of them (from a different company, sorry lol)cost was somewhere around $180 each w/shipping and they are very tastefully done. Didn't even have to search a company out, they contacted me through the shop that painted my truck.
I've seen a lot of these plaques on the walls of custom shops, etc. so yes the interest is out there.

I checked out the site and your plaques are pretty cool (I see Mike's Toyota on there!) with nice layouts and a good selection of woods/colors. I'll tag the site and come back later when you have more stuff up.

Ya a place called In The News contacted me sortly after my feature came out for getting one done. I beleive they are from florida. The first one I did not like so sent it back and they remade me a new one for nothing. I think it was around 200-250 to get done.

They are one of the major plaque makers I beleive for the magazine companies.

i've done a few of the show boards, but none of the magazine features...my style is a little different than yours and I haven't advertised any but i sure don't get much business...people around here just don't want to spend any money

looks like you do a really good job though, a lot better than mine ( but i have no experience)

this was the last one i did...

sorry for the hijack

I have yet to have a vehicle featured, but I am planning on having my first published photographs/articles framed.

I have had event coverage run in Sport Truck and Mini Truckin and a feature in the current issue of Sport Truck as well. I'm hoping to make this a continual freelance gig, but I don't plan on having every one of them done.

I would like to have all of my "firsts" done though. If I ended up with photos in a different publication, I would get that framed as well.

The plaques are cool and I'm still considering them because framing is INSANELY expensive. But framed it would match the other things in my office (diploma, art prints, etc).

if my turd ever got featured I would want a few of them done, mag cover, feature ect. Spring lake is a hop skip and jump away so that is bonus.Trying to get this model to pose with my truck, if that pans out...I'll come through on that
