air tanks/compressor combination

I'm looking at using 2 5 gallon tanks, and 2 viair 380's. I'm just gunna snag one of those dual packs.

Is this enough compressor for that much air? I don't want it to take ages to fill up, but I figure with 10 gallons if it does take a little longer, it will last a bit longer as well...right?

i use 1 380 on a 3 gallon,works good

yes, more air takes longer to fill. but lasts longer. but also consider the size valves you're running for your dumps. bigger will let more air out obviously.

and i would just spend the little extra for the dual-480 pack. you will not regret it.

i have that exact setup and it works really good. it doesn't take too long to fill the tanks up. but if i had to do it again i would spend a little extra money and get the 480's.

i got a 7 gallon tank and vi 480 works perfect go with the vi 480

thats 0-200. i think i may run 2 480's on a 5 gallon for now, until I absolutely have to run another tank.


im just not sure how long it will last. im running 1/4 inch ascos...
