anyone ever seen taillights on trucks cab?

This may be a gay question but has anyone ever seen a truck with it's taillights on the back of the cab or window? i'm almost done smoothing out my tailgate/rollpan skin and taillight fillers on my 89 toyota and it looks so smooth.i ordered 10" flush leds last week with intentions of installing them towards the bottom of my tailgate skin.now that i see how smooth it is i wonder if i could hide them somewhere on the cab or at the bottom of my rear window. anybody ever seen this or is this the stupidest idea you've ever heard?

Brian Jendro from The Chop Shop did that years ago on a bodydropped long bed hard body. I thought it looked good. I don't think the local fuzz would be as understanding tho.

they say your lights have to be at the most etream of the rear of the truck...

i might be totally gay but...

i ahve done it and i loved it. it does look good but most cops dont like it. here is why law states that the tailight must have a red reflective strip and it most be at the farthest point on the vehicle.

i wanted to run a led on each side of the back window but cops in my town suck ass. i am hesitant on running leds all together. i have just been searching for a set of stockers to mold in that look good.

thanks for all the responses. i really would prefer to put them at the cab but i dont know if i wanna deal with cops all the time....then again, i'll probaly get pulled over anyways since they're led's.if i do put them in the cab i'll post some pics.
