Alright, here it goes again. I waited a few days but nobody seems like they're in a big rush to fix the server and I kinda need to know some things very soon. I'd appreciate any help.

Trying to fit my 20's on my tacoma and need to know if the 89-95 4x4 clutch cylinder will fit on my taco and if it does will it save me enough room to lay out with the 20's? Also, there was an article in minitruckin recently showing how to relocate the cylinder inside the cab on a yota. Can this be done the same way on a tacoma? It looked like they ditched the clutch resevior and were going to run the fluid in to the cylinder from the brake booster. Is this possible, safe, easy to do? Any Help would be appreciated.

i dont know about the 4x4 clutch master cylinder but we just did a 93 toyota pick-up on 20's and had to move the clutch master cylinder up 3 inches to clear the 20's

the 4x4 cylinder is the same as the 2wd cylinder. dont know if it will fit the taco. think it will. dont hold me to it. mine is located under the dash now and it was pretty easy.

Thanks guys. Do either of you have pics? Dave, did you keep the resevior with the cylinder or did you make it remote?

Anyone know if you can run the clutch off of the brake booster fluid?

I do know for a fact that the 80s Toyota clutch master cylinders are very much shorter than the factory Tacoma ones and will work. You may have to redrill bolt holes but it helps.

the older one will bolt up to a taco and give you more room but no way it will clear 20s..still gonna have to move it

i used one from a acura legend on my taco. its really close to the wheels and im about 3/4" from laying but i got 22's.
very easy install and it has the little reservoir you can mount anywhere instead of the reservoir built onth the master itself.

yes the taco clutch can be built in the same manner as in the MT article
