changing a frame

So i origanally bought an s10 for cheap and did a frame for it for a paint contest in hopes of getting a good job, but, i got that job alot sooner than i thought, so i'm wanting to ditch the s10 and get an old yota like i've always wanted

I wanna keep my frame i built, its not done and never got mounted, so i'm assuming if i redo the frame rails i should be able to make it work for a diffrent truck. I was just wondering if anyone else has done something like this and if its a big headache?

get your wheelbase right, bodymounts, etc... if the width is like 28-40", you'll probably have no problem as long as you can adjust your wheelbase accordingly....

i don't have body mounts or bed mounts and stuff like that done yet, and i was gonna mount it to the stock front clip, so that's not on, so i think it'll be a breeze. Only thing i can think might not work, is i built the bag mounts to be right next to the front of the bed on an ex cab s10(running a cantilever), and i'm thinking since an old yota is alittle smaller, that space might be compromised, but as long as its not into the cab, i guess i can just not use the front of the bed.
