I have a cadence head unit and everything is hooked up correctly as far as I know, here is the problem that I have though. When I am playing a cd my system bumps good but when I switch over to Radio the amp is still on but no sound from the sub. I am using a 1000 watt Sony amp and a single 12 inch sony sub... I know that doesnt matter but just incase anyone wants to know.. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?? I got the radio from a friend and he had no problems out of it.. Thanks for any help in advance...

Are the audio adjustments set different for radio mode and CD mode? just a though, but typically..you will see a lower bass response on radio.

This is gonna sound like a stupid question but ya never know .... Have you tried it on multiple radio stations or just one?

Yeah I tried mulitple stations and I thought about that same thing when i first noticed it...Im guess Im gonna pull it out again and do one last check on all the wiring and make sure its done right..

if it works when a cd is in and not the radio, it has to be something inside your stereo not any thing else

its gota be a seeting on the deck. im sure is something was not hooked up right you would not have any bass at all.

some radios let you have independent controls for CD and radio, maybe the sub output is turned off on the AM/FM setting? or turned way down

if it was just your radio with bass I would say the power antenna was used for your remote, but the opposite would have to be some setting
