i am gettin an 87 c10 swb and im lookin at bagging and body dropin it to the rockers,cut floor body drop...the biggest wheel i wanna lay on is 20's..do i have to z the frame and if so how much....any other things i need to watch for.and how much of a body drop do i need>???

to the rocker is like an inch and 3/4, if you traditional b.d. you probaly wont need a z,if you stock floor it the z gets built in so to speak...you can z the like 2" in either case but you probaly wont need to other than the front horns,i channeled my dually and didn't need a z just drop spindles and it lays rocker on 19.5's .on another c-10 we ze'd it 3" to lay door that was a stock floor..good luck

the c-10 is one of the easier trucks to do,but still time consuming.good luck

you will need to z it. or section the front xmember.

how much of a z will it need???im puttin a big block in it if that makes differnce.or will it be easyer to section the xmember???

If you want the truck to lay flat, you need to Z it or section the front crossmember. My friend sectioned his 1.5" and the arms lay at the same time the frame does.
