hey max what do you know about friction shocks? saw them in the speedway catalog and was wondering if something like that would work on a mini. im wanting to connect them to the lower arm on my irs cause i think they would look alot cleaner than a shock would.

just as troy says they are not good for much of anything. the friction shocks use two things, either leather for friction or a stone disk. the stone disk works better but still nothing super great. the leather ones are not worth anything as for function. you could try a knee action shock. they look like a friction shock but they have fluid and they are just like a regular shock and they do work. fluid knee action shocks were on model a fords and they also used them on small british sports cars like early MG's and such. hope this helps
