it just all depends..... traditional or stockfloor???? do you have everything ready and available???? and do you know what your doing??? b/c if not take the amount of time you think it will take and multiply it times 2 for some head scratching.. ha ha, but a traditional bodydrop should be completed in a weekend if everything was readily available and you knew what you was doing going into the project.. A stock floor would be considerably more time consuming

It may take a weekend if you have two people working onthe truck, and only get the cab and bed dropped. There is a lot into a body drop...lots of removal for starters. You need to remove your dash, wiring, interior, etc. If you have a clutch does your master cylinder need to be moved, does your firewall need to be tubbed, do you need to relocate wiring. How close is your brake booster to hitting anything, do you need to remake pedal brackets, the list can go on and on. For someone who has never done it before it can take quite sometime, with or without help.

One of the guys in our club channeled his truck without any experience bodydropping. It took him 6 weeks with the help of a few other people and working on it a couple hours each day.

depends on how detailed you get. cutting the cab takes no time. its all the rewiring, tubing and all the other bs that nobody ever see's that takes the time. but in all honesty i worked on it over the winter and only worked on it on sunday and it was about 2 months.

well my truck has been down about 2 months and i work so much i can only work on it about 5 hrs a week. and my stock floor is finished. just gotta put the body back on. so ive worked on it like 30hrs, i havnt touched it for like 3 weeks..i have one friend helping me. so i could have dont the stockfloor in like 3 or 4 days if i had all day to work on it.

I know people that it takes a year. I do a traditional in about 4 weeks when I'm in school, and driving at the end of that 4 weeks.
