83 hilux help

im body droppin my 83 and i need some info..i have heard that i can cut the frame down( under the cab) and pu t 2x3 square tubing in to body drop the cab.. can i or do i need to cut the floor...and any pics of the front set up would be greAT....and where do i put the strut bars...im just wanting to lay rocker...any help would be great..this is my first body drop....im not in any hurry...

you need to ask "twisted minis (seth bomar)" he has this model truck bd. i know everything about these trucks other than doing body drop. i do know you will need to convert the front suspension, brakes, etc to 84 or up stuff... also you will need to notch the steering arm to clear the oil pan when you z the front clip. but im not sure how this applies to doing a sfbd.

also, are you looking for anything imparticular for yours?

You could cut down the frame. Its not that hard, just make sure it stays straight.
