Nope ill stick with my PCs. Mine is a Quad Core with 4 gig of ram and over 1.3tb of storage on it. Shellys PC is a little slower with a dual core, 3gb of ram and around 1.1tb of storage. Laptop is a dual core with 2gig of ram, 250gig of storage. Couple more computers for things like the vinyl machine/embroidery machine and such.

Then we have our HP Media Smart Server with 2.5tb of storage to back up all the pcs, plus it serves up media all through the house and also is web accessable so i can work from litterly anywhere with a web browser to get files or remote in to any of the pcs on the network and work.

as soon as the quad core is availible for the g5 ill be upgrading

u cant beat a mac for design.. programs run alot smoother and true color is nice

i think me and doug and carter are the only ones partial to mac?? thats wierdddd

bootcamp with vista is pretty cool too the new macs are dominating!

If you put a PC vs MAC with the same specs the mac is only going to be faster by a few seconds in fact some studies show milliseconds. Seen lots of studies on the subject. In the past MAC's were always drastically faster, however it was because typically they were comparing a dual processor MAC to a single processor PC. Im not knocking MACs, but the bottom line is they are no longer "drastically" faster.

I love my windows machine, ive used MACs and I see zero need to go back to one. Im one of those guys that will spend the money if I see a reason, and MAC's have never shown me a reason in the many times ive used them. I have a very stable set of PCS and haven't seen a blue screen or crash since the mid 90's but then again I dont cheap on hardware either, which is always been why MACs were great... well that theory applies to PC's as well. Cheap parts will get you cheap performance and you can't pick up a 800 buck PC and compare it to a 3k MAC and call that a fair test.

Color really has less to do with if its a MAC or a PC, its more about your graphics card and your monitor. Im good im rocking a Samsung 24 wide screen the same people that build MAC screens if you didn't know that. They are also the same people that bulid the Dell Ultra Sharps. The samsungs are actually higher in contrast ratio than the MAC screens.

processor speeds are pretty much the samebut graphic wise mac is still way ahead of pc

pc has crossfire or sli.. nvidea 8800gt is probably the best sli card you can buy and a pc will only support 2 of them... and thats at 568mb a piece... base model g5 by apple can support up to 4 graphic processors and pc is catching up with ram but again a g5 can support almost a terrabyte or virtual memoryi uses a windows machine all the time its my gaming rig but im partial to mac my pc is decent its not finished i keep upgrading it im getting ready to put 2 512 mb ati saphire crossfire cards and pop in 2 more gigs of ram and as soon as they re release the intel 8000 quad core processor ill be buyin that too.. stupid games are coming out that only the best machines can run!

well, i ended getting a 20" iMac, 2.0ghz Core 2 Duo, 1gb ram and a 250gb HDD, then ill upgrade to more ram when the time comes because $700 for 4gb from apple is retarded. i also have my old 19" in a dual monitor setup. Id have to say it was money very well spent.
