Tire size on a 18x8 Wheel

What tire size would you run on a rim that is 18x8? is on a 86-93 mazda laying frame.

a 225 is a good size for an 8" wide wheel. im running a 225/40/18, and they fit great. thats if you have room for a little bigger tire, instead of a rubber band.

225 40 fits nicely, I actually have that on an 18x7.5 and its the same size as stock as well.

I'm running 225/40s on an 18x8, and it has just a little bit of stretch- which looks perfect on a mini in my opinion!
