I was into minitruckin' 3 years before I bought my '89 S-10 in 1995. 'Bagged it in '97, totaled it, bought a '99 S-10 from my brother and sold it earlier this year. Now I've got a '93 Isuzu spacecab and I don't think I will ever get tired of this kind of lifestyle.
Got my 88 Toyota reg cab in '92 when I was 20. Rocked it with ground effects and 15" rims for 8 years. Put it on hold for 6 years while I started a family and got a house. Finally resurrected it in 2006 and bagged/shaved it over the last few years..... still working towards that goal of a finished truck. I'm 40 and it's been a long journey but still trying to move forward.
I started back in the late 80s. Only thing I had an Astro minivan with a small block 350. I went to a mini truck show in 88 at Traders village of all places.
