water in the gas tank

i can get a jeep cherokee for 50 bucks but the guy said some chick put water and gas in the gas tank and ran it. my question is the fuel system shot after doing this or can i flush out the gas tank and it will run?

you should be able to drain the tank. make sure it has no rust in it. if there is rust take it to a radiator shop and they can clean it.
should be able to just flush new fuel thru the system and should be fine.

^^^yep, like pootus said. drain the tank and a radiator shop can clean and flush it.
as for the engine things of it, if its injected there should be a service and/or vacuum line you can flush with compressed air to flush it all out.
also try some gas cleaner (not that wal mart shit!) WYNNs make some killer fuel flush (you can typical get it at a firestone auto shop)
dont forget to clean the fuel pump well when you have everything apart!
