We use Swagelok on our CNG systems up to 5500 psi, good stuff. We use alot other fittings on our fleet stuff thats cheaper. Look for A-lok, or Bi-lok. We run these up to 2000 psi with no problems. Just some alternatives to look at.

its because stainless gets brittle due to some of its properties. it either rips or cracks. copper is solf, steel is pretty soft. they work fine with standard tools. im not sure on aluminum. its probably the norm stuff too. ss is really hard.

atleast thats what i remember reading/learning a long time ago. correct me if im wrong.

so where is the best cheapest place to get hard line or braided lines made?

i can do you your hardline in 3/8 stainless with all parker fittings, just lmk what you want done just did a yota with hydraulics.and this is the bender i use: http://www.newmantools.com/imperial/tb4.html

Those last few pics the setup looks good. But with the amount of rocking that boxed tube allows the cylinders to do, wont it bend those hardlines?

the cylinders do not move at all they always stay forward, all the way lifted or layed out
