I plan on riding 20s daily on my bodied taco. I have been looking at tire sizes and it would benefit me (clearance wise) to run a 225 30 20 at least in the front. How crappy will a tire that small ride? Does anyone else run them daily? Does anyone else run big wheel and tire combos on b/d trucks that are driven every day? thanks
have fun turning.....i chewed my tires to hell just turning day in and day out.....rode all day at 60psi tuckin rim but of course had to turn around 100 or so....as for your question i had 35 on my 19's and i noticed no difference then when i had 40 on my 18's on the s-10.....hope you dont have a billet rim though
for dailys i always recommend a 40 series tire even then they take abuse but your location has a lot to do with it in chicago theres tones of potholes and cracked streets due to the harsh winter so it may not be as bad where you live i used to ride on 215/45 17 on a daily all year long and never had a problem my girl had a 245/40 18 on her cavalier hit a pothole and blew a tire so it all depends on the driver honestly
i have 20"s on my bagged s10 and i ride it daily its a little rough but i also dont have shocks up front. and my alignment was off a little so my pass tire is ate out on the inside and out.
well the roads of tallahassee are under major reconstruction right now. but I am hoping by the time I am driving it(may 0that will be close to over with. my main concern is the ride of a 30 series tire and my fender clearance...
