720 Spindle Taper

Does anyone know if the upper spindle taper on a 720 is the same as A Mustang II or Toyota? Meaning will a Mustang II or Toyota ball joint fit in it safely? Or will it need to be reamed out? Thanks.

Do you know what reamer would be needed? My friend has one, I think its the 1.5" per foot? Could it be done on a drill press safely? Or would it be best done on a mill? I'm trying to talk the guy into some uni-balls, but he seems to like the balljoints on my truck with the cheesy stainless covers that don't fit well.

ive reamed spindles with a hand drill.... easier than a drill press....
