You will need to beef up the frame work but other than that she will will work. Also for the beginer I hear they don't have a flat spot which will be harder for the beginner to find there track pattern.

alot of old timer metal shapers on another forum been testing these out ... there input .. theyre crap ...
like Nate said , flexing frame and no flats on the anvils... this will leave marks in your metal for a novice ... the time you take re-building the frame and getting the right anvils , you could have built your own frame... yeah , you can roll metal , but with all the slop , your not going to get good results , or be working harder to get the right shape....http://covell.biz/ he has some good kits for building your own wheel ...
or check out Hoosierpatterns at EBAY ...
good luck ..

This same thread is in the "tools" forum check that out. Theres some good info there. You can't beat the price and for what it would take to beef it up would still be less than cost of a covell or a wheelingmachines.com wheel. If your doing it as a profession then I would spend some cash on a good one, but if your just fooling around in your garage and only plan on using it every so often you'll be fine.
