... and the peeps doing were questioning the Slam RE6 bags I have (for the front) as well as claiming the Belltech Spindles and DJM Control Arms will not work (together at least). Now I am obviously not doing the work and Im no expert, however, I did a years worth of research before making decisions during the time I was saving and purchasing all the parts. I know for a fact there are a few guys with reg f-150's who are using both the Spindles and the Control arms with no problems. I also know there are plenty of guys running RE6's up front. The guys bagging my truck did not completely rule out the RE6's, they just claimed on a Cadillac that they had done the bags did not provide enough lift. If anyone can help me, preferebly someone who has experience with the Belltech Spindle/DJM Lower Control Arm combo, it would be great.

take your truck somewere else, these guys sound like the thier scared of a lil fabrication, i dont own a lightning or a f150, but i bet some of the f150 guys would say it could work

I don't think you would need booth spindles and arms unless you're going to run 22s. RE-7s would be a better bet for the front as they are rated for more weight and will get a little more lift. The 6s won't lift as high and will take a lot mor pressure to do so. Also you need to have them raise your upper control arm mounts 1-1.5 inches to keep your camber decent.

post some pics.

you don't need both the spindle and the arms, go with the spindle and raise your uppers as previously stated and upgrade to at least an re7 i'm running stone 2800s in the front on mine, but i also have to overcome a body drop so you should be fine with an re7

edit: and i also know that a lot of djm's stuff does not work with lightning or harley davidson's, you may want to contact them and see if the arms will fit your lightning

i guess your biggest mistake is baggin a lightning in the 1st place..

What size wheels?
If you are doing 20's with a 255/35/20 then I would use the djm lowers and stock uppers ... its quick, cheap and easy

re6's will provide more then enough lift with 20's

Yes, you will be fine with re-6's and only djm lowers. You can lay out with a 255/30/20

My brother laid his out on 22's with only djm lowers and re-6's and had plenty of lift

I did a '98 f150 (not lightning or harley) on 20s using r6s and just lower arms. We never had any probs what so ever. He rides it about 4" off the ground 90 mile round trip daily for 5 years now. it must have aligned fine since he JUST had to replace tires.
