My business transaction with Alter Ego / Evil Twin Suspensions


While trying to decide which route to go with for my semi wheels on my dually, I stumbled across Alter Ego / Evil Twin Suspension. I contacted the business owner, Gavin Stone, about his wheels he had advertised. He sounded very knowledgeable and courteous. He gave me a quote under dealer pricing on all my part inquiries. Hundreds of dollars off list cost. Sweet!
Still undecided, I continued to browse

Yeah...the whole "gift" thing would've been a huge red flag for me.

Well, i too have had many many many problems with Gavin Stone aka EvilTwinSuspensions.com. I ordered a set of six custom dually wheels, a lift kit, and reservoir shocks from him. This all began on January 23rd 2009 and today is May 4th 2010 and im still trying to get the shocks and lug covers from this flake. I finally got the wheels and lift kit after a year of BS and excuses about this and that. I was about to take leagl action against him when he finally came through with the wheels and lift kit. He sent the wrong lug covers and shocks so i sent them back and they were delivered to him on Feb 2nd, 2010 and all this guy has is excuses. I have asked for a refund for the shocks and lug covers multiple times and he keeps saying they will be here any day now that the shocks are on back order, etc. He said he sent the lug covers out a week and a half ago and they still havent shown up. He must have sent them by horseback.

This is the very very short version because im at work... ill come back and post the full version of this guys BS when i have time at home.

BUYER BEWARE... EvilTwinSuspensions is not the place you want to do business with.

The Layton Police Department is currently investigating allegations of
fraud regarding Gavin Stone.

Mr. Stone sold items on eBay under the username of Tricktoyz. Mr. Stone
operated out of Utah under the business names and email addresses of:

Alter Ego
Evil Twin Suspensions
Evil Twin Company
Evil twin Inc.






Mr. Stone allegedly sold items on eBay and accepted payment through
PayPal. Some of Mr. Stone's transactions occurred outside of eBay, and
customers communicated over the telephone and or email.

The Layton Police Department was contacted after Mr. Stone accepted
payment for items that he never had in his possession or the customer
never received the item. A review of Mr. Stone's PayPal account
identified you as one of Mr. Stone's customers.

Please respond to this email, if you paid Mr. Stone for an item that
you never received. The Layton Police Department intends to file
criminal charges against Mr. Stone for communications fraud. If you
believe you were a victim of fraud, please provide a written response
describing your transaction with Mr. Stone. In addition to your written
response, please state your name and a telephone number where an
investigator can contact you.

stories like this get my blood boiling ... i get real angry..then i want to rip there arms off and beat the piss out of em with them. haha

i hope they lock him up and throw away the key...farging scamming bastages....

im so glad i didn't buy anything from this guy. i emailed him a couple times on ebay for pricing on his wheels. the price on 4 custom cut 22.5's were cheap ,and he seemed legit..i guess not..
