I got a 97 F-150 2wd V6 with a blown motor but perfect otherwise a couple months back for 500 bucks. So I'm thinking about laying it out this summer. Its not my main project but so I'm gonna keep it basic and paint it then slam it on 20's as i get the time. My question is whats the cheapest option for laying the front on a 255/35/20 tire? Can baggin it on re7's, , move the upper c/a's up, install spindles, and clearance shit where necessary work to get it down on the rails in the front and if I run a 20x8.5 rim with that size tire will i be able to keep a/c and blower box? I'm not looking to get into a huge project so I'm looking the best way to get it on the rails witout spending a shitload. I already got a mint Explorer booster that is way smaller. Would that work also (I've read I'm gonna hit the brake booster with the stock booster)? Any adive would help. Thanks in advance.

you've basically already done all the research
if you are looking to do a real budget build you can do a spindle flip rather than buying spindles. just do a search and you'll find some info on those
you should be able to keep everything under the hood as well with just about any tire on a 20" rim as long as it isn't a 60 series, i'm bd on 22s and still have my a/c and blower box

When you speak of a spindle flip are you talking about a ball joint flip to bring the spindle to the topside of the lower c/a? Also does anyone make a bolt up shock kit for the front of these trucks? I dont want to get into fabbing shit to mount shocks but would like to run them eventually.
