I have a 1994 Toyota pickup bd to the rockers on 20s. My wheels are just hitting the booster it would probably be fine because it only hits when its all the way down but i was wondering what years i can get for a smaller brake booster, how much smaller are they, do they bolt right up like the stock one and where's a good place to get them.

Try the 79-83 2WD brake booster. Its 8" diameter, and same firewall bolt pattern. Depending on your truck, the master cylinder may bolt up, but I have heard of people having a different bolt pattern. Personally I have not experienced this. I have a newer master on my stock booster on my 80 Toyota. You will just have to adapt the push rod on the back of the booster to fit your pedal, I believe that is it.

Just want to make sure what year booster will work with the least amount of fabrication. Thanks. Also with getting a smaller booster does it effect the braking at all?

anyone? Just wondering if it effects anything. Like braking wise.
