Truck Drivers??

Just wondering if there are any truck drivers out there. I have been seriously thinking about for a month or so now and want to hear from anyone who is

my friends dad is one, he makes about 130,000 a year but is independent so he pays for gas, etc... hes never home, maybe a weekend every month

I drive locally. I make 45g a year. Dont go OTR if you can help it. Try to stay local, however you'll need 2 years exp. in many cases to do this. And dont drive in a team. You wont make shi*

I was a hot shot driver. It is not a job for a famliy guy. Never home. But you do get to see alot of different places though. Sometimes, if you time it right, you can catch a local show where ever you are.
