new frame for the s10

i am buying a new frame for my truck the guy only wants 200 buxs it is bad ass here are a few pics tell me what you think

nice but do you no how thick the metal tubing is and hope they new how to weld if not your going to have problems but if its all good then good find

I'd reinforce the tranny crossmember, and I dont like the idea of the gas tank being right at the back almost on the ground like that. I would personally get a professional welder to look at the thing before I bought it, and measure it all out to make sure it's square. But it looks not bad, and with a bit of paint could be a damn nice frame.

personally i wouldnt buy it for, you could almost get all that metal for around 200 and weld it up yourself, that way you know whats gone into it and how strong the welds are, as well as measurements and being completely square. Good luck though!

did he say he did built frame ...was it built there on the ground ...and even if he could get the metal for 200 who is gonna weld it up...not saying he can weld or not but what shop is gonna charge nothing to stockfloor and back half his truck..who knows it could have came out from under a show truck ...you dont know whats under most of them show trucks

i would buy it for scrap and then sell the clip to some hot rodder ...but 200 is cheap get it and if its not strong for your truck then part it out and you got some metal for a stock floor and a new clip for your build

and that tank is safer there than under the truck in the stock place....oh yea tell him to throw in the billets and you will get it

looking closer at it, thee are no body mounts on it?? that is kinda strange, and those battery mounts are not strong enough in my humble opinion...

i am going to redo the rear i am going to drop the rear under the bed floor and put a blazer tank in. I am going to put the body mounts in. thanks guys for the confodinice and the props and to everyone else do you have to be so rude about it?

just build another one if you are going to redo everything... and dont use "badass" to describe something like that!!
