Is there a certain minimum angle the bars have to be to prevent movement in your axle?

Yes. I don't recall the number off the top of my head, I think its around 35 or 40 degrees. But basically, the goal is to make your triangulated bars look like a right angle as much as possible.

Visual examples are best.The closer this is to a 90 degree angle, the more lateral stability your setup will have. Less or more is acceptable, just try to keep it close.
