yes it is a good price, its also under MAP pricing, this person is hurting the retail industry and in a way not supporting or upholding the request of the manufacturer, which is pretty much a slap in the face for VI AIR, but you should buy it, its a cheap ass price, also make sure you tell them thanks!!!

We are with you 100% but the problem with map pricing is making sure all the dealers stick to it. Which is damn near impossable, there just is to many internet stores out there for company like Viair Ailift, ect... to regulate them all. I know there are a few companys that have map pricing on a select few products any way so whats the point. For the map pricing to work it is up to us the shops to stick too it. We get calls every day like this" so and so is giving me this price can you beat it?" we did try but figured out quick it is not worth it because they just take your lower price and call the other guy back to try to get him to go evern lower. You guys as customers have to remember that where you buy from is just as important as how cheap you are getting the product. For example if you buy from us or any other reputable shop you are not just getting good product but also a guy on the phone that can help you with yout tech/ install questions you might have when instaling the product. Plus 99% of the time these same shops also are direct dealers not buying though a whole saler. Which is another reason its hard for companys(air lift Viar ect..) to regulate the map pricing , there are just to many "internet shops" out there to keep an eye on them all the time. Dont get me wrong you cant blame the companys(air lift Viar ect..) they would have to hire 20 something people working 12 hours days to watch every ones pricing. Thats why is kinda up to us to hold the map pricing but i think we are long off from it completly woking. To all the customers out there, dont think us holding map pricing fucks you out of a good deal becasue it dont, it just keeps the good shops open that have an overhead, and with out good shops who would build or help build the badd ass truck you see every day? This goes for the guys building all his own stuff too, because you mioght run into a problem and need some one to answer a question. Just remember it is always better to buy from the cheapest guy some times what that guy or company can do after the sale is important too.

That is too cheap, I know we are all looking for a deal, but why not support the people that are supporting you.

Im not looking to undercut anyones sales. My post was asking if it was a good price or not, and then if Rich could beat it. How am I to know what map pricing, wholesale pricing or any other pricing is set at for these compressors???? Hence the point of posting a QUESTION on a news forum. I can see how it must suck talking to the kid with 10 bucks and a ball of lint in his pocket about saving another $2, but thats not me.Business owners, big and small also need to know the way they project their name, attitude, and experiences on a message forum speaks lots to potential customers clicking a post.

Richie, ill be in touch.

Cool man just give us a call.

Chris I dont think any one or any shop here is made at you personaly, they are all just hate haveing to deal with the guys(shops) that like to under cut the map pricing. All us shop owners have to deal with it to a point and know its not your or any customers fault. I dont blame any one trying to get a better price that is what you are sopost to do. THe more money you save the more in your pocket. There is no way any one can blame you for that because we all have other stuff we have to buy becides truck stuff. I just dont want any customer to feel he shouldnt try to get the best price, we just all need a more level playing ground.

Thanks Richie

yea i kinda feel like the industry is kinda "standardized" i guess you might say as far as the online stores with all the same components and whatnot. im guilty of buying the standard backets from distributors as well but hey ya gotta get started somehow. hopefully after my own upcoming kits take off i can spend more time in CAD making some new and differnt parts. wow this is gettin way off topic. ok bye lol
