i have a crewcab f150 putting on 23's and my question is what do you do with the steering going througt the fire wall? everything else is ready to go but have to do the steering. please help quick
NOTHING AT ALL. TAKE IT OUT WHEN YOUR BODYDROPPING IT. TRAD OR STOCKFLOOR IT DOESN'T MATTER WITH THE STEERING. WHEN YOU PUT THE TRUCK BACK TOGETHER JUST PUT IT BACK IN. THOSE SHAFTS COLLAPSE A LOT FOR ACCIDENTS. IF THE DIDN'T, IF YOU WERE TO GET IN A HEAD ON CRASH THAT COLUMN WOULD JUMP OUT AND HIT YOU IN THE FACE. I DROPPED MINE 4" AND HAD NO PROBS AT ALL. THE SHAFT WILL JUST PULL APART WHEN YOU TAKE IT OUT AND WILL JUST SLIDE BACK TOGETHER WHEN YOU PUT IT TOGETHER. VERY EASY. YOU'LL NEED AN OLDER RANGER BOOSTER OR HYDROBOOST CUZ YOUR WHEEL WILL HIT IT.
it doesnt move, period. even when u z the front it shouldnt move at all. mine didnt but its a mini, but its still the same idea. besides, when you cut the cab out, you dont cut that high anyway unless you can't cut straight
