I have a 1996 gmc sonoma same as an s-10. Is there anyway to move it or to just get ride of it, because its in the way.

Dang does anybody have a clue. I know plenty of people have done something with the abs module

I know what i am doing on my full size is reverting back to brake lines from a pre-abs truck.. I don't know if you can do that to the s-10s and sonomas but it is something to look into.

yup id just use a proportioning valve off an older non abs s10 and accomodate the brake lines to match OR use one of these

its 109 bux but it has the BOO switch and adjustible rear bias...

if you take the module out you will need to remove the bulb from the dash or the ABS light will stay on all the time

just take the fuse out, alot easier then taking out the bulb.. I threw my abs away, brakes alot better, teed the front lines together and the back single one both into the booster resivoir just be careful in the rain when ur brakes get wet after a while....they try to lock up
