Convert your arms to A arms and you can.

Why do you want to remove it? Are you body dropping the truck and want to drop the front x member and are thinking it will be a hassle? If so you can just move the bumper and core support mounts down and leave the x member and strut rods as is. There is some pix of this process in Seths body drop forum topic that will help you visualize what I'm driving at.
