toyota engine swap how hard would it be?

my wife totalled our 00 2wheel drive 4runner. it has the 3.4 v6 how hard would it be to put the motor and tranny in a 85 toy truck

i think the hardest part would be having to deal with all the electronics and wiring and stuff like that since the older truck dosnt have much to it as far as that stuff goes...probably have to change out the whole engine harness and all the dash wiring and guages and the whole nine yards..on a side note..id be very interested in buyin that runner from ya..im in need of a parts truck for my stockfloored runner..

On the other hand, you would have every single harness needed. Just make sure that you get all the wiring without cutting any.
