I have a 95 chev fullsize and wanna put in needle gauges, is there an adapter from the factory harness to do this???

if you use the factory unit it should plug right in... im assuming you have the digital cluster and want to go to "analog". it should plug right up! i had a 95 gmc safari w/ digital and everything on the back side looked like the "analog type in regards to the wiring..

NO..I want to run needle gauges instead of the factory cluster. Like old school needle autometer gauges...But i need a harness that plugs into the gm harness then plugs into electronic needle gauges

on my toyota i got all autometer ultralite pro comp II gauges. for mine i ordered the electrical ones for oil, water etc.

you'll have to get either 2 multimeters or 1 with long ass cables. then from whatever sending unit you're shooting from...let's just say oil pressure, you hook up one multimeter. then from your factory harness where it plugs into your cluster you try each wire separately until you find the one with resistance (i'm talking ohms by the way). then you know which wire to hook up to that gauge. go wire by wire for each unit you're trying to hook up. mine has the mechanical speedometer so that was easy, but it's even the same for the electric speedo too.

being a chevy you'll be lucky that you most likely won't have to change any of the sensors, but if you do...they come with the gauges (at least the pro comp II oil & water temp ones i got) as they're different ohm sweeps than imports.

i hope that makes some sence & if not, feel free to hit me up.

by the way, i've never heard of any sort of harness adapter...i could be wrong & that doesn't mean it doesn't exist...but as far as i know, you'll just have to splice into the factory harness.

it's really not difficult...good luck man,
