nope not at all

if its making noise..be happy. Has it been driven alot lately (could be old gas). Also have you done any tune up?..lastly, did the previous owner remove all the smog hoses? their could be something not plugged causing the smoke.

no i dont think its been driven alot lately.. and no tune up yet just got it today and got home at 11pm. all smog stuff is hooked up

i meant if its NOT making noise be happy...yeah dude, soome clean gas and a tuneup might have you straight...as for the stiff clutch, i dont know, but if its goes out..they are EASY to change and not too expensive. I swapped a clutch in my B2200 in 2 evenings and I had never done it before.

your valve guide seals are toast thats why it smokes..mazdas are famous for that mines been soking on start up for years...i just deal with it

Todd is right. Change your valve guide seals and that smoking problem stops. I had to do it on my old mazda and the one I just got does the same thing.

like i said before you left with my mazda. hah valve guide seals and the clutch is so stuff because the leverage was taken off when we moved the clutch master cylinder. into the cab your leg will get used to it. nice hole in the tranny tunnel by the way.
