Shaving Tailgate

I welded in my filer plate last night. I just have to grind down the welds and such. Question is what kind of body filler should i use to start building it up? Just stright bondo or get some duraglass? Just want to make sure its right its the first time ive ever done it

If's its not warped to bad just use some rage gold or whatever you've got. Be sure to take your time when gringing not to get it to hot and warp it more.

building it up is a bad statement when you do body work you just want to skim coat body work isnt easy i would definately get an experienced friend to help use a decent brand not schucks of bondo go to your local paint shop and ask their opinion. ok ya grind your welds and keep it cool with a cool wet rag or use air if you can. scuff the metal up with 80 grit and lay some mud down be sure to use lots of pressure. scuff between coats. really long process get some help.

If warped some use Duraglass, then Bondo, then skim coat w/Icing
