cage fighting @slammin &jammin....WTF?

This is from the Jan. autoshows.cc newsletter, I thought it was kinda strange.

Great news for all who will be attending the fifteenth annual edition of Slammin' and Jammin' in Lebanon, TN on May 23-25, 2008.

We are proud to add to the events of our show the most electrifying, and one of the biggest growing spectator sports in America today. Yes, it's true, there will be Absolute Cage Fighting at the show this year. We have plans to have 40 fighters and grapplers, and a number of pros that will enter the "cage" to do battle for your viewing pleasure. This is one of the many events that you do not want to miss. Every moment of this show will change in the blink of an eye, so be there for Saturday the 24th to view this most exciting event. Be sure to tell all of your club members, friends, car show participants, and everyone else what will be at the show this year.

Our title sponsor for the event, Falken Tire, will once again bring tires to be given away this year. As to how many sets we will find out at the show. Other goodies will also be given away by them during the show as usual. With key chains, t-shirts, caps, frisbees, etc... Who knows what they will have? We do want to thank them for all the support throughout the years and hope they will continue to back our show for many more years to come. cage fighting = strange for a truck show! why dont they just have sesame street on ice for the kiddies. how bout a scrap booking party for the moms. and maybe a prayer chapel for sunday church goers! ohhh and a fire juggler for the odd balls like me! i was born and raised in tennessee, trust me when i say, this will bring the trailer trash and rednecks out of the woodwork! im not hating at all - i give them props for thinking outside the box, or should i say cage, for entertainment. but like i said, wait and see - rednecks and trailer trash!

ill agree, there will be rednecks and white trash attending that show just to see that i bet, but i dont see anything wrong with it. id watch it!

I TRAIN IN MMA BUT IM NOT REAL SURE HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THE CAGE FIGHTING AT THE SHOW...COULD BE GOOD COULD BE BAD...SEE ITS NOT LEGAL IN TENNEESSE YET COULD BE REAL BAD
