I bought my B2200 for $400 in the back of a used car lot, I was looking for a straight body mini and the owner said it didnt have a key and the motor was blown so i offered him $400 and he took it. I trailered my new mini home and put a lot of money and a lot of love into it. I had a key made, changed the spark plugs, a new starter, and flushed some seafoam through it and it started up like new. Through the years i added 4 x 4 extras, caddy wheels, buffed out the oxidized paint, clear corners, etc. etc... My inspiration was Shawn A.'s Game Over Mazda from WA., along with all the other mini's around Warrensburg, MO. Midwest Dragfest Representin! However, sadly I am selling my mazda to one of my friends because i don't have the money or time to bag and drag it, i even bought my 4 link from GK. Although i am selling it i know it will be in good hands because im selling it to one of my good friends who owns his own shop and is gonna fix it up. I know it will be in good hands but so long to my first mini but def not my last...MT4L

Dude, dont give up! I owned my truck for 7-8 years before I got it on air. It sucks, I know, but I would hang in there a lil longer. You got a nice start it looks like to me. Just my 2 cents! OH, and if your buddy owns a shop, shame on him for taking the truck off your hands rather than givin ya a hand gettin it on the ground.

time to set it out on the side of the house and keep the rust off of it. i wish i would have kept my mazda but i let it go to salvation army. they said they would fix the motor and give it to someone who needed it................along side 2k to me.

wish i never would have sold it. that truck was my first personal mini, having driven my dads 84 s10 before that. it was fucking SOLID too.

I would definitely keep my hands on it. I recently bought my 64 with the sole intentions of letting it sit back behind my house until I get my mind made up on it's future. They don't cost you anything to own once they're paid for.

i let go of my 83 toyota from my teenage years back when i was 26. i am now 33 and just bought another one. it took me 7 1/2 years to find another one in worthy condition. these older minis are getting harder and harder to find... especially when everyone wants them for their great gas mileage right now! keep tha bitch - i speak from experience, itll take you longer to find or buy another one!

figured id say once more to keep it. the "money you dont have" will come if you just dont do shit to it for a while. I never really understood selling your only project for money. If you don't drop all your money into it, just let it sit for a while, your going to make money to pay whatever your needing money for. AT the end of it all, you still have your mini, you payed off everything, and you can get back to it right where you left off.

Means that much to sell it must mean you need the money to stay alive. If it for cash cause you need money look at the reasons and make sure they worth getting rid of your pride and joy. Don't loose sight of long term goals for short term nneds.
