i have a 99 fullsize chevy. it was bagged when i got it. it already has the shock kit welded to the frame and control arm.what brand of shock and where can i buy them.alll the ones i could find only had a few inches of travel. thanks

anyone have shocks on their chevy?

it depends on what shocks it was setup with... measure the mounting points at max travels and find a shock with those lengths that will work... you can goto your local autoparts stores and they normally have a shock book, or monroe has one on their website...

i already measured and could not find anything that would work at parts store. didn't know if anyone had any info on what they used. it is an extensive metal set up on the front

Hit up Steve Duck at RCD and get a set of Bilstiens for it. They have them with valving to suit bagged applications. He's a real guru with shocks, always treats me good too.
