Tailgate hinge

What can you guys tell me about a swing open tailgate.
Would you happen to know where I could buy a hinge that could be modified to fit my stock tailgate?
I have looked on the web and found a few pictures, but I'd be willing to look at more pictures if you have any.
The Honda ridgeline has a swing open/fold down. Many other models like the Envoy etc. have sing back doors. Maybe one of those hinges could tuck away and work. What do you think?

my friend used one from the gate of a gmc safari (chevy astro. the dutch door version of the van has a flip up glass and the bottom portion opens like barn doors. he used the latch and hinges from the bottom 2 doors. obviously you wont be splitting the gate in the middle but it would work...
or i dont see why you couldnt use a hinge from sd.com or autoloc and a bearclaw latch to go with it.

Use suicide door hinges and make it latch the same way a door would
