REdrilled Vs. new axel tubes etc.

I got a set of wheels for my taco that are not the lug pattern of a taco. I was reading one of the others posts about the cost about getting them bored and redrilled.. So someone told me that i should check into buying the rear and axels etc to make the wheels bolt up directly... Just wondering if anyone did this or seen it..
