Little update on the days progress. I went by after work and put in the last few pieces of the back half minus the 4 link, then put in 2 more rails going front to back in the center of the frame under the cab to strengthen a little more. Should have pics up of the frame tomorrow!!!
Tomorrow I think the owner (Ronnie) will be ordering all the rear air ride brackets and bags, front brackets and bags, deciding on the tire size, deciding on if he wants a front end conversion, and taking all the bolt on front suspension off.
He said he doesnt want to go any smaller than a 35 series tire so 18s it is I guess. the notch allows for a 25 1/2" outer diameter. I dont know what the bed will allow yet. Im guessing it will allow a 25 1/2" tire from some of your guys profiles.
Anyways the next day of work will be friday so we plan on starting to move the front suspension up and the frame horns down then all we have left is the 4 link and smoothing for paint.

sick as hell. I was think it'd look disproportionate as well, but looks really good. At first i thought a section would look nice, but i don't think it'll be needed, keep up the good work and like everyone said, lets see more pics!!!!!

here is a slide show of when I chopped it.

Actually I would love to one day build a truck that is sectioned. Just not this one. I would like to build a standard cab yota for a midget with a 6" chop 2" section and doored. That would be sic. but like I said it would have to be for a midget. And all you guys like the x- cab windows I bet you would really have liked them if I had got to do a x-cab pup I just couldnt find one at the time. Anyways the chop is not done by leaning the post any. We plan on using flat glass, lexan, and cutting the front glass.2manyprojects- I like the look of your chop. I know what you are saying about rushing into the chop. A kid that was working beside me at school did the same thing and rushed into it. He didnt brace any and ended up having to porto power his door jambs to get the doors to shut and it never did get right.
