Engine driven comp?

So I'm thinking about doin an engine driven comp. due to all the problems im having with my compessors. I'm pretty sure there is a way you can use an ac compressor to make this work. Anyone got any info on how to do this. And if it makes a diff on what one you use. Im gonna me putting this on my 06 gmc canyon and no one makes a kit for this so any help would be awesome.
