Rear Window ?'s

Alright, so I know a guy who's building a '91 yota. I won't go into to much details, in case he doesn't want people to know what all he's doing, but I will say it's gonna be SICK...anywho, is there a way to use the 4 runner's roll down rear window on his 91 cab? He's got a donor 4-runner and I threw out the idea, but we weren't sure if was simply a bolt in thing or what.

been done brutha. and yes you can use them, ive even seen some lazy people stick the entire door in the back seat haha.

ive heard people talk about doing that before.. it was done, i dont know. if it was easy then im sure you would see alot of people with them already.

my mom has a 4runner and i was getting shit out of the back of it last w/e and the same thought xed my mind!

yeah its been done more than a couple times and its def not a bolt in deal

ive torn those 4runner gates apart. they are pretty simple. you could probably run the whole setup out of the gate, and just make a new track for it to pocket into on the cab side using the old parts of the 4runner body. it can be done. using a peice of custom flat glass might be easier though than the curved one thats stock on those. since the back of our trucks is pretty verticle.
