im about to lower my truck. im going to be using be using belltech lowering spindles. i've used toxic drop shocks in the past and they were ok, i was wondering what would be the best shocks for the truck? also what steering stabilizer would you use. im going to be dring this daily until the summer till i can buy an 08 tacoma prerunner. where would be the best place for me to get these parts. also what would be the best way to lower the rear end? ive only used flip kits before. are blocks going to be ok? i've heard horror stories about them.

blocks for the rear shouldnt be a problem. get the good ones though. Steel and angled blocks to prevent any kinda pinion issues.

depends on how much youre lowering it. Blocks work fine. You could also take out the middle leaf spring for an extra inch or so with the blocks, i had a 94 toy excab that i did that to before i bagged it. I never changed out my stablizer bar. For shocks i took measurements and went to the local parts store and had them look up what i needed.

i lowered my 92 by cranking the bars down to where there is about an inch of threads above the top nut on the adjuster. with a 195/75/14 and the wheel i have, i cant go any lower without rubbing more. i had to flare out my 2wd fenders, roll the lip with a bat and hammer the shit out of the inner fender at the firewall area. there is a pinch weld that hangs down. i also ditched all 4 fender liners. in the back i just put some DJM 3" alum blocks. mine is a standard cab short bed, so i didnt angle the driveline any. i also havent pulled the center leaf. i want to so the back drops more to match, but i already have wheel hop if i try to burnout on dry pavement. im probably going to 4link and coilover the rear. i just put new 195/70/14s up front yesterday so that brought it down another 3/8" and took away some rubbing. it was only rubbing at full lock to the right. on the ecm bolts from the pass kick panel. if you remove it from being mounted solid to the truck, you can hammer it in more and put it back. just safety, i didnt wanna beat the shit out of the area its mounted on too hard.
