Those are bigger than the 140-95, but if you can shoe-horn them in there, they will work fine.

I used an Slam re8 all around on a 1967 deville

I'm sure that you're plenty happy with the way it rides, but the re8 is too stiff for the rear of a Cad. The sleeve bag is a far superior part for that application. Ford and Firestone worked together to build the 140-95 for the rear of the Expeditions that happen to be set up the same way as the Cads.

ill have plenty of room in between the rails im more concerned if there overkill i know these will take MUCH less air to lift it up than those 140 95's you told me about but that could be a good thing for the ride.. and i dont have 300 bucks layin around to buy them these ones were stuffed away in my dads shed

Its rides pretty good with the re8s plus it gets alot of lift

I use 9000's in the rear and have so many times.they work perfect, all you have to do is put a shorter shock in to keep it from over expanding.I know the re8 rides decent but the sleeve rides like a cadillac.I also use them in caprice and wagon applications along with a few other things. Some people say sleeve bags are weak and don't last but ive had them in my wagon for many years without a single problem.I think most problems stem from bad install.

Grip is right.

Chad, I don't mean to sound like I'm picking on you, but the re8 is too stiff of a spring rate, no matter how you slice it. The weight of the Cad will help mask that, but the sleeve bag is the right spring rate for the Cads. In the end, all that matters is that you are happy with your car/truck, reguardless what I or anybody else says.
