get someone to make you a cell that will mount the factory unit. unusual fabrication and mindliss metal fab make them. (last i checked around $250-300)you can also shorten the tubes on the unit if you need a shallower cell.

pretty sure you don't need a fuel cell if you use a wishbone set up.

the 2wd and the 4wd bed is the same for that body

2WD and 4WD beds are identical those years. There is no difference. And you can run 2WD fenders also, they just don't match the rear fenders. If that doesn't bother you there is no reason not to run the 2WD fenders.

You can get an RCI fuel cell. They are cheap, and the don't leak. But in my experience, none of them have been square, and they are all wavy. You can get a fuel cell made that will except the stock sending unit. That would be your best bet. I know a guy who builds some incredible stainless tanks, but you will spend at least $500.

Not really. They usually have different readings. The standard 0-90 ohm that come in fuel cells work well with after market gauges, but not so much with stocks. I think they read backwards, or just aren't accurate.
